Keeping you Safe

At Balanced Care, our mission is to provide information and education on every insurance product we offer.  We do this by meeting with clients one on one, going over benefits, premiums, deductibles, prescription drug costs, and most importantly, making sure that the product you are getting for yourself will cover your needs.

Since March and since the beginning of Covid-19, most insurance companies have suggested that we not meet with clients one on one.   This was especially true when meeting with clients that wanted more information on Medicare due to their age and possible health conditions.

Because Covid-19 restrictions are starting to loosen, we wanted to share what we are doing to help keep you safe.

We often meet with clients in their own home providing the client has been referred to us.   We understand that not everyone is comfortable with having us enter their home.

There are two options that can take place.   First, we can do business over the phone, through the internet, through e-mail, etc.  It may take a few “visits” to get all the information to you, but it can happen with patience.

If you aren’t comfortable meeting at your home, we can go to a local coffee shop or small restaurant.   Of course, we would have to follow the rules of the restaurant in using masks and keeping our distance from one another.

If you do decide that you would prefer to meet, we are taking these steps to ensure the safety of your family and well as my own.

When arriving at your home, I will give you a call and/or text you letting you know that I am there for your appointment.

This is done for a purpose.   It allows you to open your own doors and keep me from not touching surfaces in your home.

Before leaving my own home, I have thoroughly washed my hands.   Once I arrive at your home, a hand sanitizer is used on my own hands in the car.   I am more than happy to wash my hands again once I get into your home, but again, I will ask you to turn on faucets, etc.

I will have extra hand sanitizer with me so if you want to take that extra step in protecting yourself, you are able to do so.

So many people ask me if I would like something to eat or drink and I thank you for your constant warm hospitality.   During these times, it would be better not to serve me.   It’s not that I want to turn down your hospitality; it’s just another precaution in keeping you safe.

I will bring pens with me that have been sanitized for you to use.   These pens are for you to keep.

Balanced Care’s responsibilty with the insurance products we offer is to provide protection when you need it the most.   The steps we are taking as we meet again with clients is also to provide you and your family protection and safety.

We thank you for your continued support and understanding and look forward to working with you as we navigate these trying days.
