Back in 2017, my husband was scheduled to have surgery for a ruptured disc. In preparing for the surgery, the doctor wanted to check his Vitamin D level. He was told that it was extremely low so the doctor put him on a Vitamin D supplement which we didn’t think anything of.
At that same time which happened to be during the Annual Election Period for Medicare, I began noticing more clients taking Vitamin D. Some were having the supplement prescribed and some were taking it over the counter. Because of working with Medicare Insurance products, clients let me know what medications they take so together we can find a prescription drug plan that will cover their medications. This is also done each year so that clients have the opportunity to change plans that will help save them money on both their prescriptions as well as their plan.
In 2018, the same thing happened with more people taking Vitamin D. I talked about it with a few clients when I noticed it and they were told by their doctor that people need Vitamin D to help fight flu viruses in the winter time when their Vitamin D levels are lower.
In 2019, the number of clients taking Vitamin D was overwhelming to me. If I had to take a guess, I would say that over 80% of clients were taking Vitamin D along with their regular prescriptions. On one occasion, I asked a client if her doctor had recommended it. She told me that he had and told her it was a good idea to take it to help fight influenza especially during the winter months.
In 2020, we all know that Covid hit us hard. The people that it affected the most were those with underlying conditions.
The last several months, research has been a top priority. I’ve listened to doctors that felt there was no other answer for Covid other than a vaccine. I’ve also listened to doctors that have felt we have had treatment for Covid all along. I’ve attended webinars, listened to different points of view, and lastly, have stayed away from the news.
In other words, research has been extremely important to me. Quite frankly, I’ve been on a mission for truth.
Several doctors that I have listened to have mentioned the importance of taking Vitamin D to help with the treatment and prevention of Covid.
It brought me back to the years prior when I kept seeing an uptick in clients taking Vitamin D.
Was this a coincidence?
Did the medical community know something was coming and knew that people with underlying conditions were at great risk?
Were they attempting to protect those most vulnerable?
We have no way of knowing the answer to this, but I find that nothing is a coincidence. In years prior to 2017, I could count on one hand the clients taking Vitamin D on regular basis. Why did it suddenly jump in the years prior to 2020?
One doctor, Dr. Ryan Cole talks about the importance of Vitamin D. He talks about it here in this video:
In researching, it has become evident that there is no such thing as a coincidence. Take notice on how everything in life somehow leads up to the next . . . . it’s all connected.
If my husband was never asked to take Vitamin D, would I have noticed the uptick in clients taking it? (By the way, he didn’t have to have the surgery which is a story for another day)
All I can tell you is that it’s important for me to share truth. We can each take the information and research it ourselves.
You can decide. As for me, I’m choosing to believe that God is directing my every step.
As it states in Psalms 17:5 Let my steps stay on your tracks so that my feet will not stumble. I don’t believe that I stumbled on this information – it’s there for all to know.
