Proper Planning

When any of us are getting ready for a vacation, planning has to happen.

Depending on where you are going, will you fly, drive, or take a train?

Where will you stay once you get there?

What will you bring for clothes?

Do you need any new clothes to bring with you?

Shopping will have to be done, reservations will need to be made, accommodations need to be made for animals left at home, and possibly someone coming into our home to water plants and check on your home.

In the insurance business, when you are planning on purchasing a product such as Medicare, planning has to be done.

We recommend that you sit down with us approximately three to six months prior to becoming eligible for Medicare so that you know what to expect.    The first visit is all about providing information and answering questions.

We then sit down again, answer your questions, and provide more information.    We talk about Supplemental Plans, Medicare Advantage Plans, and Prescription Drug Plans.

We like to make sure you know of your options so that when it’s decision time, you know exactly what option will best serve your needs.

If you need health insurance, planning has to be considered to make sure you will be able to go to your doctor or nearest hospital.

If you need life insurance, planning has to be a part of the conversation so we know how long you want the death benefit to last as well as how much you need.

Just like planning a vacation or any other important event, proper planning is essential.

As Benjamin Franklin once said, “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”

While we can’t help you plan your vacation, we can help you plan your insurance needs.

Success in whatever you do just doesn’t happen; it is always planned for.

Balanced Care is always right here to help you plan for the most important decisions on the insurance products designed to protect you.
