Planting a Garden

This is the time of the year that many families (including my own) will plant a garden and grow their own food.    Some families may choose to join a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) or just get fresh fruits and vegetables from a Farmer’s Market.  Whatever you choose, you are doing what works best for your family.

If you do plant a garden, you will have rototill the area you want to produce fruit on, use cow manure to help the plants get the best nutrients,  and plan where each plant will be planted.

You will have to choose what to plant.   Will it be tomatoes, peas, carrots, beets, string beans, lettuce, squash, or pumpkins?   It really depends on what your family likes to eat.

Like every gardener, there is a learning curve.   You may place a plant to close to another one and one of the plants doesn’t get the proper sun because of it.  We did this last year when we planted our beets too close to the summer squash.  The squash grew like crazy and the beets didn’t get the sun they needed.

Deer had a feast on our lettuce and string beans last year.

If you pick up fresh fruits and vegetables from the store or a Farmer’s Market, you may attempt to reconstruct a recipe you loved before, but the taste just doesn’t seem to be the same.

No matter what you do, there is always a learning curve.   The same thing can be said about Life Insurance.  There are well over 400 different Life Insurance companies and it makes it hard to know which one will work best for you.

One family’s recipe for Life Insurance isn’t the same as the next.   Factors such as family size, income, and debt are going to be different with every family.

It makes it difficult to know if the Life Insurance plan you are purchasing will fit your needs throughout your life.

That is why Balanced Care works to help you find a plan that will fit your needs for as long as possible.   Life changes all the time which is why we suggest giving us a call when changes happen.    When your family grows with a birth of a child, your need for more Life Insurance just grew a little more.    If you haven’t purchased Life Insurance before the birth of a child, it could be the perfect time to do so.

“A garden requires patient labor and attention.  Plants do not grow merely to satisfy ambitions or to fulfill good intentions.  They thrive because someone expended effort on them” is a quote from Liberty Hyde Bailey.

Your family deserves every ounce of time and effort being poured into them.

As a carrot, turnip, and beet can only say, “We are rooting for you”!13892099_10206986095279056_7690567591278663057_n

Show your family that they are one in a “Melon”.

Plant seeds of possibility and water your family with kindness by calling Balanced Care to help your family thrive.

Life Insurance is producing a legacy for your family by planting seeds in a garden you may never see, but will harvest for a lifetime.
