Celebrating Mothers

This coming Sunday, May 13, 2018 is Mother’s Day.   It’s a day to celebrate Mothers throughout our country and the world.

Young children will make homemade cards, purchase flowers, or even make Mom breakfast in bed.

For some, it will be their first Mother’s Day without their Mother or another year to visit a gravesite instead of seeing their Mother in person.

For a young woman struggling to become a Mother, the day will be difficult.

For a Mother that has lost her child, the harsh reality of what they face each day becomes more evident on Mother’s Day.

As a Mother, a Mother in Law, a Grandmother, and a business owner that works with Mothers each day, I am a witness to what Mothers do for their families.

Most of the time, it’s a Mother that reaches out to me with questions on Health Insurance.

It’s a Mother that reaches out to me with questions on Life Insurance.

On Mother’s Day, reach out to your Mother.   If you know of someone grieving this Mother’s Day, pray for them, but even more so, tell them you are there for them.

Pick up the phone and call.   The sound of your voice will mean the world to her.

Always remember that life doesn’t come with a manual; it comes with a Mother.

She will be there for you through thick and thin.   Her heart will break when she knows you are hurting.

She will be there one little heartbeat at a time – Always has and always will.
